Dedicated, hard-working, resourceful, trustworthy, unparalleled, determined, and fearless.
I would like to start with hello to all of you who are taking the time to read my bio, my name is Ruthie Ann “Cookie” Stoffel. I would also like to share what I have learned by serving on Tribal Council for the last four years. Since running for Tribal Council in 2012, I have learned my purpose is to represent our people and to protect our tribe from its own extinction. Always being there for my commitments and being dedicated to the betterment of our tribe are my main concerns. Records show, I have fundraised the most amount of money for our tribe, and not to line Tribal Council’s or my own pockets. Every dollar has been accurately accounted for thanks to Kim Leone, our Secretary Treasurer. Also in addition to fundraising, I committed to be in Tribal Hall on Tuesdays, to answer the phone and call back messages that have been left. I have been one of the main connections to all Tribal Council communications. Our communication between Tribal Council is currently respectful and open. Learning how to look past the divisions and misinformation has been for the good of our whole tribe. I believe in a unified tribe and everyone’s support is a key part in making our tribe whole. Your time or financial help is extremely important to the continued efforts for recognition. I am greatly looking forward to new accomplishments in the next four years and would be honored to have your vote.
